The short version. Trad-Axis is free. We collect only what the app needs to work: your sign-in details, the budget entries you choose to type in, and a device token for notifications. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps or websites. You can delete your account at any time, in the app or on this page.

1. Who we are

Trad-Axis (the "app") is published by First Logic Meta Lab Pvt Ltd, a company incorporated in India ("we", "us", "our"). We decide how and why your personal data is processed, which makes us the "Data Fiduciary" under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act").

2. What the app does

The app gives you market news headlines, an economic calendar with reminders for high-impact events, and My Money, a personal budget planner where you record income, bills, spending and savings goals. The app is free to use, and it has no in-app purchases and no advertising.

3. Information we collect

Category	What exactly	Why
Account	Your e-mail address, your name if your sign-in provider shares it, the sign-in method (Google, Apple or e-mail and password), and a user ID. If you use e-mail and password, the password is handled by Google Firebase Authentication. It is stored as a one-way hash, and we never see it.	To create and secure your account and to sync your data between your devices.
My Money data	The things you type in: pay day, income lines, bills and due days, transactions (amount, category, date and an optional note), savings goals, budgets and your chosen currency.	To provide the budget planner and keep your entries backed up to your account.
Pasted bank messages	If you paste a bank or card message to fill in a transaction, the text is read on your device only to suggest the amount, type and merchant. The pasted text is not uploaded or stored; only the transaction you save is. The app does not read your SMS inbox and does not request SMS permission.	To save you typing.
Notifications	A push notification token for your device, the platform (Android or iOS), the app version, your time-zone offset, your notification preferences, and an in-app inbox copy of each notification we send you.	To send the alerts you switch on (for example, high-impact economic events) at the right local time.
Basic activity	When your account was created and when the app last connected.	Security, support and keeping the service running.
Kept on your device only	Language, light or dark theme, the app-lock setting, home-screen widget content and the last error the app hit. App lock uses your phone's own fingerprint or face check. We never receive biometric data, only a yes or no from your phone.	Your preferences and on-device troubleshooting.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, files, SMS, call logs, advertising ID, or bank and card credentials. Do not enter bank account numbers, card numbers, passwords or other credentials in notes. My Money does not need them, and it does not connect to your bank.

4. Market news and calendar content

Headlines and calendar events come from public third-party news and data feeds. Loading them sends no personal data to those providers. When you open an article, it opens in your browser on the publisher's website, and that publisher's own privacy policy applies.

5. How we use information

To provide, maintain and secure the app and your account.
To sync and back up your My Money entries.
To send the notifications you have enabled. You can change or turn them off under Profile → Notifications or in your phone's settings.
To answer your support requests.
To prevent fraud and abuse and to meet our legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not profile you for marketing, and we do not make automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

6. Legal basis and consent

We process your personal data on the basis of the consent you give when you create an account and use the app, and for the legitimate uses the DPDP Act allows, such as complying with law. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account (section 9). Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened.

7. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf, under contract:

Google Firebase (Google LLC): Authentication, Cloud Firestore database, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging for push notifications, and Hosting. See Firebase privacy and security.
Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple, if you choose them. These providers confirm who you are. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we receive only a relay address.
Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging, which deliver notifications to your device.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety and property of users or of First Logic Meta Lab Pvt Ltd.

If you separately use another service from us under a written agreement, and it is linked to the same e-mail address, information about that service may appear in your account. That processing is covered by that agreement.

8. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on Google Cloud infrastructure used by Firebase. That may include servers outside India. Where data is transferred abroad, we rely on Google's contractual and security safeguards, and we comply with any restrictions notified under the DPDP Act.

9. Retention and account deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time:

In the app: Profile → Delete account.
On the web: trad-axis.web.app/delete-account.
By e-mail: write to mahshaddxb@gmail.com from your sign-in address.

When you delete your account:

Your sign-in is deleted immediately, and you are signed out on every device.
Your profile, My Money data and notification inbox are deactivated immediately. They are marked as deleted, they can no longer be viewed or restored through the app, and they are never used to contact you again. We stop sending notifications to your devices.
The deactivated records are kept in our database in archived form for record-keeping, security, fraud prevention and to meet legal obligations. They are not used for any other purpose. If you want these archived records erased permanently, e-mail us from the address you used, and we will erase them within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep them.
If you sign up again later, even with the same e-mail address, you start with a new, empty account. Deleted data is not restored.

10. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest on Google Cloud. Database rules allow only you to read your own account data, and our administrative access is restricted and logged. No system is perfectly secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

11. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act and other laws that apply to you, you can:

ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it;
correct or update inaccurate data (most of it you can edit directly in the app);
have your data erased (section 9) and withdraw consent;
nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated;
raise a grievance with us, and, if you are not satisfied, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

If you live in the EU, the UK or another region with similar laws, you have equivalent rights, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. E-mail us to exercise any right. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the account holder. We reply within 30 days.

12. Grievance officer

13. Children

The app is meant for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect children's data. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top always shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or by e-mail before it takes effect.
